Vardan Jhanjanyan, President of the Armenian Mining and Metallurgy Association, is set to take part in the Future Minerals Forum (FMF), which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from January 13 to 15. He will attend as part of Armenia\u2019s official government delegation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recognized as one of the world\u2019s leading platforms for the mining industry, the Future Minerals Forum brings together government officials, major companies, investors, and international organizations. The event focuses on key global challenges, including the sustainable development of mineral resources, strengthening supply chains, adoption of innovative technologies, and expansion of investment cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organized by Saudi Arabia\u2019s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the forum has grown into a major international gathering, attracting participants from over 180 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year marks Armenia\u2019s first participation in the forum at the level of an official state delegation, creating new opportunities to present the country\u2019s mining potential, build direct international partnerships, and engage in discussions shaping the future of the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the Armenian Mining and Metallurgy Association, participation in FMF is of strategic importance, particularly amid global shifts in the sector, the rise of the green energy agenda, and increasing international standards for sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Association views its involvement as a platform to showcase Armenia\u2019s capabilities, exchange best practices, and support the long-term development of the national mining industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jhanjanyan\u2019s participation is expected to contribute to raising the international profile of Armenia\u2019s mining sector. The forum will include high-level discussions, as well as bilateral and multilateral meetings aimed at fostering new partnerships, encouraging knowledge exchange, and unlocking investment opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beyond this, FMF provides Armenia with an important venue to deepen international cooperation, explore regional initiatives, and strengthen its position within the global mining landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
