Volodya Kirakosyan
Director of the Armenian Miners and Metallurgists Association
Volodya Kirakosyan graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Yerevan State University.
He has held numerous editorial and leadership positions in Armenia’s media sector, including:
- Editor at HayElectroMekhena radio station
- Editor of the industrial section and later director of the newspaper Yerekoyan Yerevan
- Correspondent and Chief Editor of Gorts weekly
- Founder and Chief Editor of the magazine Karat
- Founder and Chief Editor of the publication ECO
- Founder and Chief Editor of the magazine Architecture and Construction
- Founder and Chief Editor of the magazine Miner and Metallurgist (2008–2012)
Since November 2012, he has served as the Director of the Union of Miners and Metallurgists of Armenia.
