Google to Invest €5.5 Billion in Germany

Google plans to invest €5.5 billion in Germany over the next four years to expand data centers and other operations. The announcement was made in Berlin during a meeting with several German ministers.

According to media reports, the investment includes the construction of two data centers in the Frankfurt region.

The initiative is expected to create around 9,000 jobs annually in Germany.

European countries have recently prioritized the development of data centers, as leaders across the continent are concerned about falling behind in technology and artificial intelligence.

Last week, Nvidia Corp. and Deutsche Telekom announced plans to build a €1 billion data center in Munich, with the facility expected to open in early 2026.
