Having a stadium with international standards in Kapan is a priority: Vardan Jhanyan

“Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine” CJSC is investing over 400 million AMD in the development of football in Syunik Province, enabling more than 1,000 young athletes in the region to actively participate in the sport.

According to Vardan Jhanjanyan, President of the Armenian Mining and Metallurgy Association and Director of Syunik Football Academy, young footballers need to see a clear pathway for career progression up to playing in the top league. In this context, having an international-standard stadium in Kapan is a top priority.
