Mining Is One of the Key Sectors of the Economy- Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure

Mining is one of Armenia’s key economic sectors, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan said on October 3 at the “Armenian Mining 2025” Forum.

He noted that the event provides an excellent opportunity to discuss the sector’s challenges, prospects, and development opportunities. Khudatyan further underlined that the forum enables the identification of innovative and effective solutions for the sector’s future development.

“Today, amid growing global demand for minerals, we are facing both unprecedented opportunities and significant challenges.

The Mining Development Strategy approved in 2023 aims to support the sector. It also focuses on long-term economic development and the efficient use and management of natural resources,” the minister said.
