The first meeting of the working group between the Armenian Mining and Metallurgy Association and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure took place

Under the leadership of Asatur Vardanyan, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the first meeting of the working group established to define the timeframe and benchmarks for implementing the changes envisaged by the Mining Sector Development Strategy was held.

The working group comprises representatives of higher education institutions of the Republic of Armenia, as well as members of the Union of the Armenian Mining and Metallurgy Association.

During the meeting, a number of mining-related issues were discussed, existing challenges in the sector were addressed, legislative proposals were reviewed, and decisions were made regarding the working group’s next steps.
